Overnight Infant Care
The fact that new mothers are often sleep deprived is an understatement. For new moms, sleep is interrupted by nighttime feeding, care, and repeated awakenings of the newborn infant. As women adapt to the new demands of motherhood, lack of sleep and fatigue are commonly expressed concerns. These challenges coupled with the hormonal changes that take place after childbirth can increase the risk of postpartum depression.
Whether you are breastfeeding or bottle feeding, Beyond 9 can help you get more sleep. If bottle feeding, the nurse will feed, diaper, and soothe your baby/babies back to sleep to allow for a full nights rest. If breastfeeding, she will bring baby/babies to you throughout the night and provide breastfeeding support as needed while you nurse your baby. After nursing, your baby/babies will once again be settled back to bed to allow maximum amount of rest for mom.
